The President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva met today at BAS with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany H. E. Irene Maria Plank.
During the meeting, the relations between the two countries in the field of science were discussed as well as the long-standing successful cooperation with the German scientific research community. Opportunities for expanding the partnership with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and for organizing joint events aimed at promoting scientific contacts between young Bulgarian and German scientists were discussed.
H.E. Irene Maria Plank expressed her interest and willingness to visit BAS units in different scientific fields.
