Corresponding Member Evelina Slavcheva took office as President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. At a ceremony held today at BAS, Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of BAS, symbolically handed over the key of the Academy to the newly elected President.
During your two mandates, a spirit of collegiality and tolerance prevailed. All the good practices that you have established, we will certainly continue in the next term, said Corr. Memb. Slavcheva.
The ceremony was attended by Dimitar Zdravkov, Advisor to the President on Education, the President of the General Assembly Prof. Vassil Kirov, the Vice-Presidents Corr. Memb. Evdokia Pasheva and Corr. Memb. Stefan Hadjitodorov, the Scientific Secretary-General of BAS Prof. Neli Koseva and representatives of the media.
