Prof. Erhard Hinrichs from the University of Tübingen, Germany, has been awarded with a badge of honour “FOR MERITS TO BAS”. The award was presented to him today in “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall of BAS by the Scientific Secretary-General of the Academy Prof. Neli Koseva. The prize is awarded for the contribution of Prof. Hinrichs to asserting BAS as a leading centre in the field of language resources and technologies.
The ceremony took place during the official opening of the second international CLaDA-BG conference – Language Technologies and Digital Humanities: Resources and Applications 2023 which is taking place from 10 to 12 May.
