The President of BAS Prof. Julian Revalski, Full Member of the Academy, inaugurated the laboratory “Virtual History of Bulgarian Literature (IX-XXI centuries)” at the Institute for Literature. The laboratory is part of the project “Establishment and Development of the Centre of Excellence “Heritage BG”, funded by the Operational Programme “Science and Education for Smart Growth 2014-2020”.
The Institute for Literature is a partner in the project which is implemented by a consortium of twelve leading educational and scientific organisations. Their activities are oriented towards the management and safeguarding of Bulgarian cultural heritage, the management of protected areas and environmental protection, regional development, education, various economic sectors of the creative and recreational industries, the development of libraries, museums and archives, arts, etc.
