Three scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences have been awarded the “Golden Century” awards of the Ministry of Culture for their contribution to the development and popularization of Bulgarian culture. Corr. Mem. Prof. Plamen Markov was awarded the “Golden Century – Pendant”, Prof. Emmanuel Moutafov and Assoc. Prof. Hristo Popov received the “Golden Century – Star” award. The awards were presented by the Deputy Ministers of Culture Prof. Dr. Borislava Taneva and Assoc. Prof. Plamen Slavov at a ceremony held on the Day of National Enlighteners.
