Late Antique Christianity in Southeastern Europe

From 3rd to 5th October 2019 an International scholarly conference “Late Antique Christianity in Southeastern Europe” will be held in Yambol. 56 scholars from 11 countries will attend the event. The conference is organized under the project "LABedia: Encyclopedia of the Late Antiquity of the Balkans, 4th Century", funded by the Scientific Research Fund and organized by the Institute of Balkan Studies and Centre of Thracology 'Prof. Alexander Fol' at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in partnership with the Regional History Museum - Yambol. Sofia Electrochemical Days 2019

Sofia Electrochemical Days (SED) is a national conference with international participation. The event is organized every two years with the support of the Bulgarian Electrochemical Society and the Bulgarian section of the International Electrochemical Society. First held in 1996, the conference is an established national forum for exchanging information on the latest scientific and technical developments in the field of electrochemistry. SED attracts and unites both young and experienced researchers from home and abroad - representatives of various prestigious academic institutions and organizations, industrial enterprises and educational establishments. Through various formats, such as oral presentations and discussions, poster and educational sessions, new ideas are presented and discussed at a high expert level at the conference. The Black Sea, and its six littoral states (Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia), its important port cities, its littoral settlements, its multicultural richness and its history going back to Antiquity, offer in an exemplary way the possibility to be studied in this perspective. The Black Sea as literary and cultural space supposes an inductive-deductive research: an object is set within a frame(work) in order to be observed during a process which comes to modify the frame(work). The Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, with the cooperation of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, organizes the Third International Conference on Mathematics Days in Sofia. The first edition of the Conference was held in 2014 on the initiative of a number of prominent Bulgarian mathematicians and computer scientists working at home and abroad.
