International online conference “The impact of artificial intelligence on our society”

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation and the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of BAS are organizing an international online conference "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Our Society". The conference will be held online from 10:30 to 13:00 on 20 November and can be followed in real time at the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/663461931007642. The lecturers are scientists, researchers and experts in the field from three European countries. BAS to host Danube Academies Conference on climate research in October

The President of BAS - Prof. Julian Revalski, full member of the Academy, had a working meeting with Prof. Felix Unger, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. The meeting was held in BAS on 16 January 2020. One of the main activities of the European Academy has been holding of the Danube Academies Conference since 2011. In 2020, the Conference will be held in Sofia, and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will host the event on 15 and 16 October 2020. The topic will be related to climate research. A National Scientific Program will work to ensure a safer living environment in Bulgaria

The National Scientific Program "Protection of the environment and reduction of the risk of adverse phenomena and natural disasters", financed by the Ministry of Education and Science, was presented on March 12 in the "Prof. Marin Drinov" Hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
