The World Water Day on March 22 and the World Meteorological Day on March 23 were celebrated by representatives of academia, government institutions, business and education at the “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall of BAS. The Geological Institute "Strashimir Dimitrov" of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences marked its 75th anniversary with a celebration held on 15 November at “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall of BAS. It is organized by the Experimental Laboratory of Karstology (http://www.prokarstterra.bas.bg/lab/EN/index.html) of the National In­stitute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in partnership with Foundation Center on Karstology “Vlad­imir Popov”, Sofia.
