A Memorandum of Understanding between the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia was signed today at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences by the Presidents, Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of BAS, and Acad. Ashot Saghyan. The document covers a wide range of scientific fields, including engineering, biomedicine, biodiversity and ecology, climate change and natural disasters, astronomy and space research, social sciences and humanities. With a wreath laid at the monument of Vasil Levski, the leadership of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will pay tribute to the deed of one of the brightest personalities in our national pantheon.
