Young scientists from BAS with awards for independent research

The Vice-President of BAS Corr. Mem. Evdokia Pasheva presented awards to young scientists from the Academy who were distinguished in a competition for the best publication in the field of natural-mathematical, and humanities and social sciences. Each year the awards are named after notable BAS scientists on the occasion of their anniversaries. For the year 2024 the awards are dedicated to Acad. Ivan Salabashev and Acad. BAS and BNR with a new initiative for science

The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Bulgarian National Radio will cooperate and implement joint initiatives for the development of science in society. This is stated in the Memorandum signed today at the Academy by the President of BAS Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of BAS, and the Director General of BNR Milen Mitev. A delegation from BAS visits the Mongolian Academy of Sciences in Ulaanbaatar

In the period 30 July - 3 August 2024, a delegation from BAS consisting of the President of the Academy Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of BAS, and the Scientific Secretary-General of BAS Prof. Neli Koseva is visiting the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Delegation of BAS on a visit to Vietnam

From 8 to 12 April, a delegation of BAS composed of the President of the BAS, Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of the Academy, and the Vice-President of BAS Corr. Memb. First Meeting of the Presidents of the Academies of Sciences of the BSEC Member States in Istanbul

On the initiative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), the First Meeting of the Presidents of the Academies of Sciences of the BSEC Member States was organized in Istanbul with the participation of the rectors of leading Turkish universities. The President of BAS presents awards at the Academic Oscars ceremony

The President of BAS Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of the Academy, attended the ceremony "Academic Oscars" for 2023, organized by the "24 hours" newspaper. The awards are based on the Rating System of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria, an annual ranking organized by the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) and a consortium including the Open Society Institute and the Sirma Group.
