Academician Ivan Ilchev, Head of the “Heritage BG” Centre of Excellence, was on a working visit to China from 18 to 30 May at the invitation of Capital Normal University in Beijing and Beijing Foreign Studies University. Acad. The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences presented a GOLDEN honorary plaquette to Krasimira Stoyanova, former interim Minister of Transport and Communications. The award was presented by the President of BAS, Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva, for her significant contribution to the process of naming Sofia Airport after Vasil Levski. On 30.05.2025 in Sofia the "CLEAN METALS - FOR A STRONG AND INDEPENDENT EUROPE" conference organized by the BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION OF THE METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY was held. The President of BAS Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva is participating in the Astana International Forum which is held on 29 and 30 May in the capital of Kazakhstan.
