Prof. Radostina Stoyanova is awarded the Pythagoras Grand Prize
The winner of the Pythagoras Grand Prize for lifetime contribution to science is Prof. Radostina Stoyanova from the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of BAS. The official ceremony for the highest awards for science of the Ministry of Education and Science took place on 14 October and was opened by the Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev. It was held for the 17th consecutive year, with 52 scientists applying for the eight categories. Minister Valchev presented the award to Prof. Radostina Stoyanova who had laid the foundation for the development of a new scientific field in the country - the chemistry of materials for clean and affordable energy storage.
